When you use MyBackyard, we collect the following information:

• Photos: The backyard photo you upload is stored securely and used solely to generate your AI designs.
• Address: Your property address helps us design to your township's building requirements.
• Preferences: Features you select, investment range, and timeframe.
• Contact info: Name, email, and phone number (provided when you unlock your designs).
• Technical data: Browser type, device type, and a hashed (non-identifiable) version of your IP address for rate limiting.

How We Use Your Information

• Generate AI-powered backyard design concepts based on your photo and preferences.
• Allow a Seasonal World consultant to contact you about your project if you provide your contact information.
• Improve our design tool and AI models through internal quality review (your photo and designs may be reviewed by our team).
• Prevent abuse through rate limiting.

AI-Generated Designs

Designs are created using artificial intelligence and are conceptual renderings only. They are not architectural plans, engineering drawings, or construction documents. Actual pool and outdoor living design requires a professional site evaluation by Seasonal World.

Data Storage

Your photos and generated designs are stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Cloudflare R2). Your contact and session information is stored in a secure database (Supabase). We do not sell your data to third parties.

Data Retention

We retain your photos, designs, and contact information for up to 2 years to support your project and improve our service. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

MyBackyard uses essential cookies for session management. We do not use tracking cookies unless you have consented to analytics (see Cookie Preferences).
